Melory ("we", "us", or "our") is a music-memory game for iOS developed by an independent developer. Your privacy matters, and this app is built with a privacy-first approach. We collect as little data as technically possible — and in most cases, none at all.
Data we do NOT collect
No personal information
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information.
No analytics or tracking
We do not use any third-party analytics SDKs, tracking pixels, or advertising identifiers (IDFA).
No location data
The app does not request or access your location at any time.
No advertising
Melory contains no ads and does not integrate any advertising networks or SDKs.
Data stored on your device
To provide the best gameplay experience, Melory stores a small amount of data locally on your device only:
- Game progress: Scores, unlocked levels, achievements, and settings.
- Preferences: Sound volume, difficulty selection, and other in-app settings.
This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server. You can delete it at any time by uninstalling the app.
Apple services
Melory may interact with built-in Apple services. These are governed by Apple's own privacy policies:
App Store & StoreKit
Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information.
Game Center
If you choose to use Game Center for leaderboards or achievements, that data is managed by Apple under their Privacy Policy.
Children's privacy
Melory is rated for ages 4+ and is safe for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since the app does not collect any personal data, it complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations worldwide.
Third-party services
Melory does not integrate any third-party services, SDKs, or APIs that collect user data. The only external services involved are Apple's own platform services (App Store and optionally Game Center), as described above.
Data sharing & disclosure
Since we do not collect any personal data, there is nothing to share, sell, or disclose to third parties. We will never sell your data.
Your rights
Under regulations such as the GDPR (EU), CCPA (California), and similar laws, you have rights regarding your personal data. Because Melory does not collect personal data:
- There is no data to access, correct, delete, or port.
- You can remove all locally stored game data by uninstalling the app.
